The Pelham High School National Honor Society will be selling shamrocks to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The dates that shamrocks will be sold will be announced soon.
This St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser is done by many restaurants, businesses, and schools across the country. Students can donate one dollar to write their name on a shamrock which will then be hung up around the school to show who helped the Muscular Dystrophy Association. All of the money received from students buying the shamrocks will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
President Jasmine L. said, “I am so excited to help MDA. I really think that National Honor Society can make a difference. Since we are a honor society and we cannot meet often to plan community service activities, we are striving to take this opportunity and really expand our service.”
Help support children with muscular dystrophy by buying a shamrock!
