The Pelham High School Scholar’s bowl team has made definite progress as the season comes to a close. The team finished with first beating Chelsea in the finals. Sam B. won most points overall at county.
“I’m so proud at the excellence of our team this season. Everyone did so well and it really showed. Our hard work paid off in the end,” said senior Emily R.
Mrs. Short, the Varsity Scholar’s Bowl sponsor, also agreed with Emily. She was very happy with how the season played out, and how well then students answered all the questions under such tremendous pressure.
“Scholar’s Bowl is defiantly not easy and those are some intelligent individuals. I’m very sad we have the seniors leaving us, but I know they’re on the path of greatness now. I’m very excited to watch the others become better and to see the new talent that comes to Pelham High School,” said Mrs. Short.
The Scholars Bowl team highlights the academic excellence of Pelham’s students. We congratulate the hard work and talent of every person on the Scholar’s Bowl team as they finished the year up strong!
