The Pelham High School’s girl’s soccer team is making its way through a great season. With playoffs a little over a month away, the girls continue to play to the best of their ability.
On the 13th of March the girls played Thompson but suffered a small loss of 3-0. The following day, the girls played Hoover with another loss, the final score 11-0. On the 26th, the team played Thompson and brought home a victory with the score 10-0. The girls were very excited for this win.
“After losing two this month, it was really tough. We needed this win. Together we took a stand and defeated Thompson. I’m so proud of the hard work!” said Senior Breanna K.
After the defeat of Thompson, many girls have made a commitment to give their absolute best for the rest of the season. Girls like Anna G. who stated she hadn’t played this well this season as she would have liked.
Natalia A. told the staff that she thinks the team has incredible motivation.
“We get along real well and this is what keeps the soccer team going. If we didn’t get along, nothing would get done. Just being a part of this team is an honor. We have such great teamwork,” stated Natalia A.
